Hi, i'd like to use wifi driver for aircrack and kernel power v47...

This guide (LINK) says

* Install customized power kernel

# cd wl1251-maemo/binary/kernel-power
# dpkg -i kernel-power_2.6.28-maemo46-wl1_armel.deb
# dpkg -i kernel-power-headers_2.6.28-maemo46-wl1_armel.deb
# dpkg -i kernel-power-modules_2.6.28-maemo46-wl1_armel.deb
# dpkg -i kernel-power-flasher_2.6.28-maemo46-wl1_armel.deb

Side note: The package kernel-power-bootimg is also included but not
needed.

* Install customized osso-wlan (optional)

This fixes a bug where WLAN gets stuck, when you are connected to an
access point and go out-of-range.

WARNING: Installing this will break seamless upgrades to new PR versions.
Most likely you will have to reinstall normal osso-wlan version
before you can do OTA upgrades.

You can also skip this step, but keep in mind that the above mentioned bug
can occur. If this bug is triggered you have 3 options:
manually unset ssid, unload and reload driver or reboot your phone.

# cd ../osso-wlan
# dpkg -i osso-wlan_3.0.20+0m5-1_armel.deb

Side note: The packages osso-wlan-dbg and osso-wlan-doc are also included
but not needed.
if I have already installed the kernel V47, installing the modified V46, I get a V47 or V46 modified ?

after can i install the driver?

Sorry for my bad english, i'm italian.

Been asked before, countless times (searching helps, in other words).

If you install any kernel image writing packages (all the kernel-powers, both the u-boot packages, etc), you'll overwrite whatever was already there.

The only change that 46-wl had over 46 was made a normal part of kernel-power with version 47. So until the kernel changes so much that the new wifi drivers require recompiling, you can just install 47 and use the bleeding-edge wifi drivers with it.

You can use power47 kernel with power46 compiled wireless driver, there was a big thread discussing about power47, you should read that first: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=790
