Hi,
i'm install meego on emmc instead of maemo.
Now i want reflash maemo but i can't.

what i do:
open linux (ubuntu) and start the maemo flasher. it waiting for a usb device.
i power on the n900 with u key pressed and in flasher console appears:
Code:
USB device found found at bus 002, device address 004.
Using flashing protocol Mk II.
SU_VERIFY_COMMS_REQ timed out.
and the nokia open meego normaly.
i try on windows and i have the same problem.

i read on internet few thread with this problem but i don't understand if they solved and in few case they solve but don't write the solution.

can you help me?? please i have a half-bricked my n900


note: when i boot device with usb insert the "usb logo" don't show. the

resolve... the problem is only the charge of battery...if is low don't go to usb recovery mode

The method I used to reinstall maemo in similar circumstances was to flash the COMBINED image first, and then the VANILLA image, and then to follow the recommendations of the wiki, I reflashed the COMBINED image.
In between flashes I removed the battery and USB cable, and only used the -R option on the final flash.

yes but if try to flash one of two file the flasher-3.5 get the same error.
i think that problem is that usb logo don't show at startup also i press u char.
