with the new firmware the option
Code:
Control Panel->Display->Lock screen and keys
does not have any effect on my n800.

please somebody else try and see if on yours work.

Works fine for me, reduced time to 30 seconds, after this time the keys were locked...

But didnt it have automatic lock even before. I think that my N800 did ask code/pin before too.

The feature was there but you had to configue it to ask for a pin.

I'm not talking about "device lock", I'm talking about Display option (the check box called "lock screen and keys").

Well that works fine for me. Are you waiting until the switch off display time then pressing buttons?
