I recently registered at maemo.org,
I dont know if I registered while I was reading the talk (section)..

but now, I discovered, that when I am logged in,
I cannto "use" the rest of maemo.org !!

I am just registered and noticed as simion when I am browsing the talk section.

what the?
why?
I mean.. do I have to register again for the rest of the site?

I wanted to vote for the email (modest) program, to get the function copying sent mails to the imap server..

I visited this link (above) and I wasnt logged in anymore.
EVEN .. I couldnt log in again. my login wasnt acceptet.

I dont get it.. can someone explain that behaviour to me!?

...well.. now I clicked on the maemo banner logo,
and then I was at maemo.org,... I registered a second account just to check, and the notice said I registered at garage.maemo.org


though I couldnt see the subdomain in my browserbar.

You need to register 2 different accounts for Talk Maemo Org (TMO) and maemo.org. Yea, I know it is not very convenient, but it is how it works.

thank you, well I really wondered, because the account from maemoTalk should act like an openID... really weird.
guess I will write a mail to someone in charge for this and ask friendly for the reason (or any solution for this)...
