I'm pretty sure a good number of us have seen the "N900 Niko", a Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 robot that responds to twitter commands received by the N900. I don't think I can post links here so you can look it up on google
I'm not sure if the NXT has an IR Transceiver but it is Bluetooth-capable.
Anyways, I'm thinking of creating a similar project but I have no python or n900 coding experience whatsoever. I DO have the hardware though and I need help on where to get started.
These are the stuff I have readily available and I have virtually no $ to spend:
1- N900 (lol)
1 - Complete Lego Mindstorms NXT 1.0 Robot set (the older version)
- The basic software for NXT called NXT-G
- Pretty good with building robots and programming using C and NXT-G but I dont have the slightest clue on using Python. I'm comfortable programming with or without a GUI though.
- A few HiTechnic 3rd Party sensors.
- Touch Sensor, Sound Sensor, Ultrasonic Sensor (For distance)
And here are 3 pics of what I have:
-NXT
- SENSORS
- NXT KIT
If any of you guys can help me on how I should get started, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
