OK, I admit I did something totally stupid. I installed the 2007HE release on my 770, and then tried installing the Mozilla browser engine. It wouldn't install automatically, so I manually installed the components with the app manager. Did a reboot. Now my 770 is bricked. And by bricked, I mean it won't even start up in USB client mode (which I thought would be a failsafe to allow me to completely reset it). So, any ideas? Do I have to send it back to Nokia and beg them to fix it? Thanks!

Can't say I've ever seen that happen before here. Try removing the battery and then try starting in USB client mode.

That worked, though I had to keep the battery out for about an hour before it would reset. Restoring 2006 now!
