I found a nice case for my N800. It is called "Game Traveler System Carrying Case", model GT45 from R.D.S Industries of Torrence, CA (USA). It has two zippered, padded, back-to-back compartments. One compartment is thinner than the other and has no hold downs. The N800 and its stock slip case fit nicely into this one. The thicker compartment has two elastic hold downs. The mains adapter with the cord folded up fit under one hold down. The earbud/mic and cord fit under the other hold down. There's room for a few more small accessories. The case is slightly larger than a stack of 3 N800s.

The packaging says it's for PSP, Nintendo DS and some others. It looks like this http://www.amazon.com/RDS-Industries...4808387&sr=1-2
without the graphics. I don't know if they are the same otherwise.

I bought mine from Big Lots in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX USA area for US$5.99. Amazon sells those in the link above for US$9.99.

I'm quite happy with the find. Finally my N800 and accessories are a little safer traveling in a padded case just the right size.

I have a different model of DS case from that same company. Brilliant minds and all, I guess. I have the black one in the picture. Holds all my cables, adapters, extra memory cards, etc.

It has a zipper compartment that seems like it was meant for the N800, lined with some very soft, synthetic material. It has a long shoulder strap, which can come in handy.

I'm a new n800 owner- still waiting for it to come actually and was searching for an aluminum case as well- I see that someone uses a modified Sony PSP case- so I bought on on ebay for $3. I also found this one that looks interesting...

I might try it out if the ebay model doesn't totally fit the bill.
