and i was reading that you can use mbrola + espeak to get a better sounding navigation...
i have no clue on what file to install for mbrola
i went to this page:
http://tcts.fpms.ac.be/synthesis/
and downloaded the file which is arm/linux (tested on n800 and n810)
and also LINUX i386 / ppc / alpha / ultra1
as i didnt know which one it the correct one....
now my questions are:
where do i place the correct file? and how do i get it to work with espeak/espeak caller?
*off topic* on getting voice navigation to work on the n900 i found that the voice files didnt go into the cities folder but into /n900/navigation_sounds/
and they play in my media player...
i placed them in te cites/voice folder and navigation no longer works
any suggestions on this as well?
