ok. Here's my setting:
Use for Telephone calls: On
Username: ' as provided'
Transport: UDP
Outbound proxy: sip.voipwelcome.com
Port: 5060
Discover public address: On
Loose rouing: On
Keep-alive period: Automatic
Auto-detect STUN: On
Aside from our different VOIP company, do you have a similar setting?

Don't have N9 (yet), but it works on T-mobile (US) network and N900.
Why this is becoming interesting to me is this: I plan to get a new T-mobile monthly (no contract) plan for $30 that includes "unlimited" (5GB) internet, but only 100 minutes of talk time. By using SIP I could get "unlimited talk" as well.
I'm buffled as to why I cannot create a connection over 3.5G while I could over WiFi.
The fact is, I can do this on my Nokia E66 (using the same SIM card without any problem. Perhaps I just missed something in the settings?
Anyone in the know care to chime in? Thanks!
