Hi!

I have not found a way to synchronize the n900 with a yahoo calendar. Does anybody have some experience with that?

not sure about getting stuff from the n900 to yahoo. but if you want to get stuff from yahoo to your n900 do the following:
1. in yahoo calanders click on "show calalnders and search", click on teh calander you want and click settings.
2. click on export to ics file, save it on your n900.
3. open file amanger and click on ics file.

How do I sync calendar items by using CalDAV in Nokia N9?

You can use CalDAV in your Nokia N9 phone to synchronise calendar items between your phone and remote calendar service (e.g. Google, Yahoo). Set up the calendar synchronisation in the following way:
Select Accounts > Add accounts > CalDAV.
Define Username (e.g. your Google or Yahoo email address).
Define your password.
Define Server URL (check with your service provider, e.g. google.com or https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com).
Select Sign in.
After the sign in, you can define the calendar synchronising schedule and save the profile.

Yahoo Sync works with Akonadi (Zimbra) - as described here:

So how to set it up with syncevolution or something else?!

Tried in console and the gui syncevolution. No success
Would be nice to get this running, don't want to let google know anything about me (trying to move my private google account to yahoo)
