i just got my nokia n900 bfore 2 weeks and its very awesome device really love it
i was facing openvpn prob but i finally found a solution myself in this forum

i added this to config file last line
script-security 2
up /etc/openvpn/maemo-update-resolvconf
down /etc/openvpn/maemo-update-resolvconf
and i got my vpn workng with full speed
thanks maemo forums and its members

1) Could you please send the OpenVPN log file? Maybe there is a flag, that is not yet supported by your openvpn-binary.
2) Be careful with certificates and especially with the private keys. I don't know this service and it seems, everybody is invited to use a certificate/key pair. But generally _NEVER_ _EVER_ post a private key :-)

Update: I just tested it with OpenVPN 2.2.0 in configs UDP 53 and 25000 on my N900. Browsing the internet works like a charm! Can you
- ping anything through the tunnel?
- print your routes while the tunnel is up?
- start openvpn manually as root and send the logs?

well the vpn server was getting connected but i cant browse a single byte
but later i was searching this forum and i got a solution

i added this and then connected and i got my internet workng fine hurrrraahhh

script-security 2
up /etc/openvpn/maemo-update-resolvconf
down /etc/openvpn/maemo-update-resolvconf

for me its not working, Failed running command (--up/--down): could not execute external program
Anyone can help with it?

Don't working for me too!, Please, anyone can help to get put script-security 2 correctly to directory openvpn? on my device OpenVpn version said: openvpn 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' ir higher to call user-defined scripts or executables.

Only I have configurations files ovpn from Finchvpn.
I installed Nitdroid on my device and I got 3G vpn internet with droidvpn.

Please help, help!
