I've found that according to schedule attached to document (or whatever these unlabeled numbers are) #114 at
http://dockets.justia.com/docket/mas...v11813/125212/
the trial had to start on 2011-05-14. But there are no updates since 2010. And Maemo is the only repository that suspended Chromium distribution based on it. Can we return it?

chromium is available at ports.ubuntu.com for armel and armhf. Installing it on the Ubuntu on N900 right now. We can try installing the packages in Maemo but they need to be optified first.

there was chromium package for maemo a long ago, but wan't stable and at somepoint was removed.

Well, chromium works via Easy Debian, so there is no much reason, why it shouldn't, when compiled natively for Maemo.
