Hi everyone, first of, congratulations for the great forum.
I got that problem in my n9, where he keeps rebooting over and over again.
I've search the forum for the solution and i tried to flash my phone. I flash it and nothing changed. I can't use developer mode because the phone ask for the code i don't have.
Maybe i am doing something wrong in the flash process i don't know.
The reboots are kind of different. Sometimes the phone reboots, the nokia logo appears and it shuts down. Other times after the nokia logo disappears the phone tour screen appears but it doesn't let me select to take the tour, it just reboots. Other times after the nokia logo goes away, a warning comes up, saying i should update the software (witch i've done with no success).

If any one can help, i would appreciate very very much.

thank you for the help but unfortunately i had already saw that tutorial and did exactly what his written but with no result.
as soon as the flash ends the phone reboots but it wont do the normal process, it just turns off and reboots again.

Maybe this is what i am doing wrong:

this is whats in the tutorial

flasher -f -F main.bin
flasher -f -F main.bin -F emmc.bin --flash-only=mmc

Does it mean i do the first command, let it run and then do the second one?

You just need this one:
Flasher -f -F main.bin -F emmc.bin -R

And i hope you renamed main.bin and emmc.bin with names of your downloaded files...

Ohhh...
0. Disconnect your phone from PC
1. Download and install FLASHER on your Win PC
2. Download from NaviFirm 2 files for your device/country:

Code:

  a. rootfs image
  b. emmc image

3. rename them:

Code:

   a. rootfs image = main.bin
   b. emmc image = emmc.bin

examples:

Code:

rootfs image:
DFL61_HARMATTAN_30.2012.07-1_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin
* renamed = main.bin

emmc image:
DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.13-7.CENTRALEUROPE_EMMC_CENTRALEUROPE.bin
* renamed = emmc.bin

4. put this two renamed files to flasher installed directory, the default directory here:

Code:

C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher

5. Press START -> RUN -> write cmd and press enter.
6. write: cd\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher and press enter.
7. write flashing command:

Code:

Flasher -f -F main.bin -F emmc.bin -R

Code:

flasher -F main.bin -F emmc.bin --no-preserve --erase-user-data=secure -f -R

and press enter. It will write "waiting for device..."
8. Switch OFF you phone by long press on power button and wait 5-10 sec.
9. connect your phone to PC via USB cable
10. Flasher should find your phone and start flashing process

i want to thank for you patiente. I did exactly as you described but with no result.
The flash ends, the mobile reboots but it wont pass the nokia logo.

I might as well quit.
