I have the installed application memory completely full and if i try do remove programs it's says me "memory full"....

What I have to do??

do it via xterm apt-get remove package

I do it and now I have some space (400-500 Mb) and I rebooted it,
But now if I try to unistall programs in the classic way (press screen and after the red cross) the system tells me that it can't unistall because the memory is full.....
