I'm about to give up. There are a ton of bugs and all i want to do is update my n800. I posted before but nobody answered my question, this is what i posted.

I have the old 2006 os version, and i cant update it with nokia updater. I tried it on four computers. It couldnt connect to the internet when i was on it, it said i didnt have the right time on my computer and i did, and on another computer it said i tried too many times so it kicked me off. I tried it manually from the website nokia gave me and it said it wasnt compatible with my device. I tried it on xp and vista. What can i do?

Im sure i have an n800, im positive im connected to the internet, i downloaded the manual update many times, what can i do????? Is there a step i need to do so it recognizes that im on the internet? Is there a different update i need to download? i dont get it please help. I feel like nokia is conspiring to keep my n800 outdated.

Try setting your clock back by an hour.

Time on Windows is really screwy. Especially with Daylight Saving Time. If that doesn't work, let us know what time zone you're in.

I fixed the time problem by just using a different computer. On three of the four computers i used to update my n800 the main problem was it wouldn't recognize that i was connected to the internet. When i tried it manually it said my n800 wasn't compatible with the update from the Nokia website. How can i address these two problems?

Tell us the steps you took that gave you the "not connect to the internet" error.
