Since the Zaurus platform seems next to dead, I've decided to try out Maemo. I've ordered a 770 because they are very affordable now. Two questions:

Do you think I should try IT2007HE on it, or stick with IT2006 considering what I want to do?

Can you install straight Debian ARM packages on it? I use to do that a lot on my old Zaurus, I just had to force the install.


Other ideas?
