Lately, somehow I have a backlight problem on my N9:
The backlight won't automatically turn off anymore.

But when pressing the lock button, it does turn off the backlight, but other than that, it doesn't.

I tried everything. I changed the settings to 1 minute, but that didn't help anything at all...

How can I find out why it doesn't turn off the backlight?

my N950 suffers the same issue , I plan to reflash it to check ... but they may be a better solution to this problem ...

You do realise that this was a post 2 years ago

But funny enough, my N950 has also been very weird now...
The backlight wont turn off once it's in the charger... (Have to lock the screen manually)

Your OP was 1 year and 2months not 2 years old

You have used mcetool to disable screen from turning off when plugged in?

+2 months cause my screen doesn't automatically turn off either.

This message appears when there is no Internet connection.

go to:

Settings > Internet Connection > Allow background connections.

Active background connections.

already tried it and it works.

Guillermo, none of the commands fix the problem.
My phone keeps backlight on while charging

Tuve el mismo problema y se soluciono de esa manera. lamento no poder llegar mas lejos para ayudarte.

Tal vez alguien tenga otra solucion.

Reiniciaste despues de reinstalar el libsysuid-screenlock-nokia.css ?


I had the same problem and solved that way. sorry I can not go further to help.

Maybe someone has another solution.

Booted back after reinstalling the libsysuid-screenlock-nokia.css ?
