I have seen people mention Virtual Memory of 128mb on a few occasions, but my 770 only allows me to go to 64mb.

Am I missing a trick somewhere?

Nope - the virtual memory limits are 64Mb on 770 and 128Mb on N800.

You can set up larger swap if you use a swap partition.

This requires root access, editing startup scripts, and partitioning your card.
My 2GB MMCmobile card has a 128MB swap partition, though I could have made it larger.

Just out of interest glabifrons, what happens to your 770 when you remove the MMC card? Does your device crash/panick?
