Have tried to find solution in posts but missing answer if its there.

App mgr. failing to refresh. Have the 4.2007.26-8 version for N800.

Only repository enabled is catalogue.tableteer.nokia.com/certified/bora

Fails to refresh with the unable to fetch to above address regardless.

If no way to fix this, how can I reflash without wifi access? Is there a deb file that can be downloaded and installed from file mgr? First though would like to see if there's anything to fix in app mgr.

Go into the application manager tools and disable that particular repository, then when you refresh it will skip it and finish.
Search around in here and you'll find a lot fo info out about repositories and the application manager.

The disable box is greyed out on this repository and does not allow disabling unfortunately.

Also, can you hit that repository using a web browser? I get a 404 error when trying it in mine, but removing the "bora" from the URL pops up the sitej ust fine.
I just refreshed mine with no problems.
Mine only has the following:

If yours differs from the above, I would reflash the tablet with the latest firmware.

Web browser does go there. Tablet does not. I will look and see where I can download the newest firmware and see if I can download something that will allow me to flash from file. [sigh] Thx.

Are you having general network/browsing problems on your N800? That repository is available, so chances are it's not the problem, rather it's your network connectivity that is the problem. If you're new to the N800 you may want to check bug #1636 as your router may have problems with your N800 going into Power Save Mode (PSM).

Thanks on 1636 info - will make a note of it. Wasn't having general problems so far as I knew - all Web browsing functions worked well - only refreshing in app mgr would fail. Have now reflashed the unit and am going to check and see if that resolved it.

I am having same problems. I have been unale to refresh since aug 16th... That is the last refresh date. It says unable to refresh date....
