Any one elses cam appear very grainy and have a overly "orange-ish" tint? Is this the norm?

I know it's not a high quality camera, but the pix are pretty bad. Like the white
balance is waaay off.

Any way to adjust the quality? I'll post an example soon.

Thanks for any input!

Cheers

Low light conditions will produce an overly orange/grainy picture. It's normal for this camera.

I just bought an N800 (got it today!) and yes the picture quality indoors is very poor. I haven't tried the outdoors yet.

The quality from the cam is a huge let down especially compared to the cam in N95....

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it was because I was using it indoors (aren't most of us?). There should be better white balance (adjustable?) and maybe a basic gamma control- am I asking too much? I know it's a very simple app.

I guess I'm more bothered by the white balance/color correction- or lack there of... than the graininess.

Thanks again- K
