There are quite a few online apps that I've started to use. A few sites designed for the wii also work pretty well on the IT. Being outside the US bars the use of Rhapsody so here are some of my music-related finds thus far include:

1. http://www.seeqpod.com/m/#_home is an online music library. you can either play or download tracks to your device. it bills itself as the world's largest index of playable internet music.

2. http://www.finetune.com/wii/player.php has a nice interface. you can search for music by an artist via a tag and have other tracks suggested to you.

Any suggestions for other useful online apps?

For online music/radio, in OS2008 the default Media Player app includes a directory of Internet Radio stations. You find it in Library / Internet Radio / Directory. There are approx 500 entries.
