I'm using the excellent Notecase application.
Clicking on help produces an error message that the help file cannot be found.
When I look in the place where it should be (usr/share/doc/notecase) there is only a README file which says "Purged by docpurge".

What is going on?
Who is docpurge and why is he/she removing help files?

and can anybody suggest how to get the helpfile back (other than reinstall Notecase) and then stop it being purged.

I believe that docpurge is a program used by maemo to keep "files from building up on the device and absorbing memory. I don't know how to get the notecase help file back, but you can edit the docpurge file (with vi) and comment out (#) the line that deletes files from the directory where the notecase help file resides.

Hope that helps. K.
