There were problems with the live feeds (lots of fuzziness) but the archived ones worked well.
Then I updated mplayer to the latest version to see if that could solve problems. All it did was to also make the archived feeds fuzzy.
Fine.
I'll just uninstall mplayer and reinstall an older version.
Except now I'm getting an 'mplayer already installed' message when I try that.
When I try to uninstall the current version of mplayer completely through the application manager, I can't because I get an 'unable to install mplayer. Some application packages are needed by other applications.' These include the canola2-youtube plugin, mlbviewer, mediabox and streamtuner.
Great.
Is there an easier way to retreat from this mplayer update than uninstalling these four applications first?
