I thought I might post about how to buy a Nokia 770 in Australia, Since I was looking for a way of doing this for quite some time.

I ended up ordering a nokia 770 through eXpansys UK and they then transferred the order through to eXpansys AU and I have paid the Australian eXpansys.

I'm not to certain how long the shipping will take, I will update at a later date when i receive my nokia 770

hi pont, I am in Geelong, Victoria and tried everything to get a 770 here... I ended up getting one from Ebay and am hoping it will arrive this week, ended up being $500 AU... what did yours end up costing? Did you get any warranty?

I got my sister to order one she is in scottland and send it over.
it was a tiedious waite i was order 1050 i guess i was 50 after the first lot that went out and had to waite till the next batch. I got it in time for chritmass.

just recently i got a 3G phone with "3" a nokia 6280 a nice phone BUT! it has crap software installed on it and must be upgraded to stop it crashing and going off line. I should get my phone back later this week. I beleve it will behave it self when it returns.

but the good side of it is i get fairly quick internet on the go, and i get 200 mb per month for $30 on top of my mobile plan. if you go for it insist on getting the 200mb for $30 with your phone. some people at "3" will tell you it cant be done .... it can!

The 770 with a 3G connection is fantastic! it comes alive. It makes the 770 do what is is hyped to do. it rocks!

Heeler, I was considering bidding on that auction, Mine has ended up costing $660 and expansys has advised that they cannot give an australian warrenty on the product.

Sorry about the late update on this, anyway I ordered my product last week bank transfur was confurmed on tuesday and the expansys site is giving me an ETA of 7 days.

I will give everyone an update when It comes.
