Yesterday I connected my USB cable to my 770 and Windows XP reported an error with the USB device. I pulled the cover off my 770 and it was shutting down. After I turned it back on, the Google Talk icon on the left was gone. (See attachment) There is just a white box where the icon used to be. Clicking in that location does not bring up a menu...

I have tried shutting down and taking out the battery for about 20 minutes and it is still missing. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know of a way to fix this without reflashing the device?

Thanks,

Mike

Hey I submitted a bug on that, its number 555 or at least something simular to yours, when the google chat starts and end, it would leave a white space like yours. You should go there and confirm it so it gets fixed. The only difference is that when I reboot my 770 it goes away. Yours doesn't? Hmmm...

Thanks for the bug number. I have added my attachment and a comment about my problem to the bug. I wish my problem would go away after a reboot... Hopefully someone will have an idea on how to fix this.

I've had the apps icon drop to the bottom, but not that. Reboot fixed it, only happened once.
