i have downloaded all the files but sdict viewer cannot open them-does not reconize-how do i reassemble them or get sdict to reconize them

Do the file names end with .dct if not you may need to extract them?

hi the file is called this -enwiki1-2007-01-04-wiki.dic.7z.001

I think that I used 7-zip on my windows computer to extract those files then I transferred the extracted files to my tablet.

sdict is being superseded by aarddict .

there should be a full dump of wikipedia available very soon. we are mostly just figuring out a good way to distribute it.

I tried to install aarddict on latest os2008 and it would not. Any idea why?

i installed it on my n810 with wikipedia and wordnet-works perfectly-wordnet is a real bonus -i installed it by downloading the files to my pc first and then into the rec card by usb

Where are the dictionary files?

How do you install dicionary files? I installed stardict and it works okay, but the same dictionary files are not recognized as aarddict compatible.
