I was posting this issue at the application forum, but got no answer, so I'm posring it here, hopping for answwe,

Hii,
I have a very refractory bookmark on my microb bookmarks list, and I just cannot get ridd of it.
When I transfer it to another folder or deleting in. by the "manage bookmark" application, it seems to be deleted,,
but, at the next time i open the browser, is is there again.
I also suspect that since this problem, it is difficult to add new bookmarks,
and they tend to be deleted.
What are the possibilities to solve this problem? I guess by changing the code.
But please, I would like a step by step guide, since I'm not really a linux programmer.
I appreciate any possible assistance
Thanks
Tori

It is not clear to me how you move/transfer/delete your bookmarks.

Did you go to the browser, and then "Navigation->Bookmarks"?

Then from "Bookmarks->My bookmarks" window, after select a bookmark did you go to "Bookmark ->Delete" ?

It works for me to delete a bookmark that way. If you have problems of deleting by doing that I think maybe the file has become "read only" due to memory corruption on the partition. The bookmark file is /home/user/.bookmarks/MyBookmarks.xml

If you have a xterm terminal then open it and try to remove the file by typing

rm .bookmarks/MyBook*

to delete all bookmarks.

I use the bookmarks application of the tablet,
(yes it is possible to get there by;
going to the browser, and then "Navigation->Bookmarks",
then from "Bookmarks->My bookmarks" window )
There normaly, is possible to add, move and delete bookmarks.
Normaly it works very well, except that stubborn one bookmark, that cannot be deleted, it just reappear every time I oppen the microb browser.
I wish I could delet this only bookmark without deleting the whole bookmark file
Thanks

The bookmarks seem to be listed in a file /home/user/.bookmarks/MyBookmarks.xml that you can presumably edit using vi or leafpad or some other editor. I haven't tried this but it looks like it should work -- just find the offending line and it will probably be possible to get rid of it. If something is putting it back in, I have no idea what that would be.

I was checking the Bookmarks.xml file (by using emelFM2), and although I'm not an expert, I could not find any evidence for my problem written in this file, wiered (can this problem be from a different origin??? )
.., so there was no part of It I could delete....
It looks ok.... so why is the refractory problem consist......?
A real problem, maybe the only solution I can find is to delete this file and build the list again from the beginning, something I prefer leaving as a final solution.

A stubborn one, that after deleting it a lot of times, it reappears again
