I've finally decided to invest in a screen protector...But I haven't found detailed instructions on removing the faceplate for the N810. I found one for the N800, but it appears to be significantly different from the 810.

I searched google as well as maemo.org (wiki and forums).

Can someone helpe me out?

Holy Hand Grenades that looks like a lot of work. Do you have to start at the back and work your way through to the front or is there an easier way? And what's up with the one-time-use screws?

I've always used stick-on screen protectors on my devices, and I have never had to disassemble them to put them on. Good ones will be cut to the exact size of the screen on your device.

BTW, I got set of three for my n810 fairly cheap (on ebay?). They were labeled for the n800, but they fit the n810 very well. I also picked up a OTG host cable at the same time (but possibly not the same vendor).
