I'm selling: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:L:LCA:US:1123

I wondered what the best way is to make sure I have all files and settings removed from the device? I'd like to make sure it is delivered in a "fresh - ready to go" state.

Thanks.

Flash it with the latest firmware, format any SD cards, re-set the lock code to the default and disable R&D mode and flags if they were enabled.

Thanks for the tip, forgot to mention I'm on a Windows Vista machine. Is there an equivalent "flasher"? Or can I just use the basic Nokia installer to re-flash?

Thanks,
SL

Just use the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard

I don't know if it matters, but to be extra safe, if you have reason to be, I guess you could also format any SD cards you're selling with the Panasonic low-level formatter.

There's also a newer flasher (3.5) now available for Windows at http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-d...-downloads.php, but there's an issue if you also have Nokia PC Suite installed.
