Yes, Maemo is no longer included by default in the SDK, but it is available via the Qt package manager (under Qt SDK->Development Tools->Maemo Toolchain). (I get to the package manager through the SDK updater, but you could probably just run it directly.)

By default the N900 has not the 4.7.4 libraries but thanks to the community the 4.7.4 has been ported successfully to the N900.
My question is:
How can I create a project for my N900 in qt SDK 1.2? There is no maemo target in Qt SDK 1.2 thanks to the fact that Nokia never released officially 4.7.4 for our N900
