Since I updated to PR1.1 when I connect via USB I get the message 'images are no longer available'. When I look in my image folder, it appears to have wiped my images completely when I disconnect I get the same thing untill I reboot my phone then my images appear again. I am not impressed so far with this update and am beginning to wish I'd stuck with my iPhone, at least that was stable.

It has always done that.

Connecting via USB in mass storage dismounts the phone and card memories and mounts them in the PC. This is necessary and by design.

Exit the images and media player, unplug the USB, then wait a while. Re-opening the media player repopulates the lists. This might take a while if you have lots of media.

It has never done it before with mine untill now. I can't back up my images now (only camera images still show) because they are not listed when I go to N900 images folder on my laptop.
