Long time lurker, first time poster as I just recieved my N900 and have been playing with it for a while - fantastic device!

I am however having some problems with butterfly constantly re-adding unwanted contacts (people I've either blocked or removed a long time ago) to my contact list - which is a bit annoying as there's 15-20 of them. I know that the MSN protocol isn't beautiful in anyway (as a contact is never removed from the server list unless the removal is mutual) but would it be posssible to not have my unwanted contacts re-appearing every time I go back online?

This was the precise I uninstalled pigdin and butterfly because it just ruined the look of my contatcs. Everything became messy!

If there was a fix to separate phone contacts from msn contacts then I'd happily reutrn to using MSN on my N900....

But until that day, I am staying well clear!

(Posted this from my N900 - Best phone ever!!!!)

i have had that problem, too. it was resolved by uninstalling the butterfly plugin (first delete your msn account from the n900) and then installing the haze plugin from extras-devel. but be warned: installing programs from extras-devel could harm your n900 seriously, so that maybe a reflash is needed (obligatory warning message...)...

But but ... haze has more dependencies! Already enabled extras-devel and whatnot. Should be fine. Still hoping there's a solution for butterfly - contra using haze. Going to switch in the meantime.

Thanks for the tip!
