Dear all N900ers,

i would like to change the SyncML Version from 1.2 to 1.1, because of syncing to a server which only supports this version.

While searching around, i found this:
http://www.mail-archive.com/syncevol.../msg00939.html

In the settings profile,
there is a key called "syncmlvers" which stores the SyncML version that should
be used for the next sync (0=unknown, 1=1.0, 2=1.1, 3=1.2).
What is ment with "settings profile" ?
I tried to put this in the config.ini, but this doesn't work.

Does anybody know, where to put this string ?

Thank's a lot & best regards,

MCm

okay, then i will reply myself

1. Syncevolution 0.9.2 does not "natively" support adjusting SyncML Version 1.1 over the config.ini files

2. That's why you have do it the way Patrick Ohly describes here:
http://www.mail-archive.com/syncevol.../msg00934.html

3.
In Version 1.0.x this feature is enabled, and could be done with:
Code:
syncevolution --configure --sync-property SyncMLVersion=1.1 <config name>
It was a little bit confusing, that older SyncML Versions can not be easily enabled in Syncevolution, and i hope, that this will maybe help somebody with a similiar problem

Best regards,
