From the specs, it seems that it will be enough to buy the CR81 car-holder to switch from the 770 NavKit to 800 NavKit. If it's true that's been a good move by Nokia not to foolish everybody who bought his CarNavKit for Christmas, assuming that the car holder will be available separately. I'll call their customer support as soon as the navKit become available

That's good to hear. I hope they are selling the holder separately. Actually, you'd only need the holder case for the N800 (c'mon that plastic case shouldn't cost more than a handful of € ), not even the mounter, since the mounter is the same for all Nokia devices.
