Anyone else noticed that Adblock Plus is not working with the updated browser in the new firmware? It doesn't show up under "Add-ons" anymore. I wonder what could be causing the incompatibility.

Working fine here, although I had removed it prior to updating and reinstalled it afterwards.

How weird. That's the same thing I did, effectively (flashed new firmware then manually reinstalled ABP). No change after a reinstall and two reboots. Well, I guess I'll contact the developer and see if I can debug this.

I had a similar kind of problem. Installing from the app manager did not work and the same for using XPI only. So I closed all browser instances, went to /home/user/.mozilla/microb/extensions and deleted all the {d0nnnn} - folders and symbolic links which were either empty or pointed to nowhere. After that I succesfully installed ABP and got easylist working!

For me MicroB slowed down with AdBlock Plus enabled. Therefore i used the /etc/hosts method to block ad. Try it! It's noticable faster...
Info here: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

You only have to append the HOSTS file to your /etc/hosts with echo HOSTS >>/etc/hosts

Greets, davall
