I just tried to upgrade my n900 to pr1.2 and suddenly when i update through NSU it gives me the folloing error
"Nokia Service Layer Host Process has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Ive tried to reinstall NSU, i restarted my machine and phone..

has anyone had this problem before?

allright try this one too, i.e. changing your usb cable ( info from nokia care..worked in my case). If using different usb doesnt work it only can be a issue with ya comps OS.

Two years ago it was an issue with NSU + Vista, not sure if that issue came back again since I use flasher-3.5
