Don't know when this happened, but it may have been after the latest update.... When I try to put a shortcut onto one of the desktops, I now have a choice of multiple (2) instances of clock and calendar. Weird. Is there anyway to eliminate one of them

did you install catorise?
it's a bug/feature of this app

just look in the catorise-thread (:

yup. its a bug or more like residue... anyway after upgrade fw and reinstal no more...
