Hey

I just recieved my N900. My first internet tablet. I was told that I should be able to install most Maemo 4 apps onto Maemo 5. But when I try to install Duke Nukem 3D or Shadow Warrior it just says that the program could not be found in the catalouge. Do I have to add a new catalogue or what am I doing wrong?

sorry for answering late, I'm not sure on shadow warrior because i haven't tried it, but for duke nukem you need to enable extras-devel repository, there's tons of guides, both in youtube and in the wiki here. On shadow warrior i'm not sure though, i wanna install it too, but i can't find it in any of the repos, maybe there's a debian package someone can post here?

This is one of those cases where, if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't do it.

AFAIK Duke is released for Maemo 5, though. If you have specific questions there are threads about most of the games here already.

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?

Is that for me?, i mean, i have looked for the game in the repos but i can't seem to find it not even in extras devel, so i was wondering if there's a debian package or something to install it, i've searched here but nothing, maybe i'm just dumb :P
