Too bad earbud-style headphones are still pretty expensive. (usually $70 USD+ or £30 GBP+)

no for battlefield you need a full surround sound kit with the subwoofer inside the couch. you actually feel the tanks blowing the walls off the house yo're hiding in!

do the buttons work too? like volume or fwd/rev.

I bought a pair and I am pleasantly surprised, they sound good and all buttons work !
