I'll be the first to admit when it comes to linux i'm a complete novice - so no doubt this is a very stupid question.
I'm often running various bits and pieces in Xterm and trying to learn more.
Is it possible to save all the snippets of code written into a desktop shortcut (s), so that a quick click runs the script rather than typing it each time?
