Basically I installed vnc viewer and I was using it, but i encountered some problems with the desktop screen on the n900 being to small...so I uninstaller the app. When I tried to reinstall the app...I got the following error
UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD "VNC VIEWER"
APPLICATION PACKAGE NOT FOUND
I can download other apps, but I cant download and install this one.
Also I was trying to uninstall ROOTSH...but I cudnt uninstall tht one either.
I have tried resseting the device and hv got it bak to factory setting but the same carries on....can any1 help me.

problem resolved by removing battery and restarting device!

didn't solve my problem. Even tried reflashing following the instructions here:

Any application from maemo.nokia.com that is downloaded from maemo.org is giving me this error.

if it's from the ovi store, then it is ok - though I can't find it then

Check this page out....add the repositories and try installing apps.
Also regarding u not finding them....have u tried to add them the way u add all the apps to the screen....n some apps lyk flashlight, go on the status bar....so check there too.
