Thanks.. when I try to install the package it says the application is incompatible. Are you PR 1.2?
I can see ver 3.5.4-1 here.
Is that the one you are using or a different one? Do you know if it's optified btw?

I use the command line 7-zip... works fantastically and nice and fast. An apt-get install p7zip-full will get it, then just use 7z x <filename> to extract.
Unrar doesn't seem to be compatible with N900:

and File-Roller doesn't list RAR types:
http://maemo.org/packages/view/file-roller/
Any other suggestions? I couldn't find 7zip in app manager with extras-testing and devel enabled.
