Hi folks,

Any information on how to update skype for n900? since a new update for skype software has arrived for PC's.

The desktop versions of Skype are often updated just to increment elements that aren't even present on mobile versions.

I wouldn't expect any updates for the N900.

After skype update on the PC, my n900 skype started problem. Sometimes the voice is a lot choppy and I can't hear the person nor him can listen to me. And even the conference call is worse now!

@adeel: are you positive? I have not yet experienced this issue with random correspondents.

Why not be happy with no update for Maemo:

As Skype is MS they might secretly install some Elojan or Backlop on your N900.

On Symbian^3 I also stick to the oldest version possible and it still works. No video call, no need to upgrade.
