Thing is there has been no revolutionary advances in the field of battery tech. So if the physical size of the battery itself is the same size as your original battery there is no way it packs more mah. One power battery that DOES pack more mah is the Mugen power battery for N900 but it is much bigger physically than the original one and requires a custom back cover (this cover however is delivered with the battery upon purchase).

I've seen it and it looks... nice? I've just read a thread all about the battery in question (should have checked first) Anyway from what people are saying these high capacity batterys are just cheap crap with no proof of mah's , made up probably? One's that have been tested don't last as long and some have failed big time swelling up n stuff. Oh well, I'll just have to keep charging mine 3 times a day?

This battery from Japod off DealExtreme is a "quality" OEM product - about as good as the original, and a -lot- cheaper.

Hello!
I bought a Polarcell battery 2 weeks ago, because I thought my old original one was slowly loosing capacity... but it turns out there is no big difference between these two...
At least I do have a backup battery now
Best regards,
Michael
PS. The Polarcell battery doesn't really have a lot higher capacity, but I thought the "being newer" would also help...
