I have a little problem with application manager, when i connect to Internet, with wifi or gsm, he notify me an update for x-archiver 4.6-7maemo2, that is always the same version and is installed, i upgrade and all ok, but, not always but maybe once a day the upgrade notify re-appear, i think i need blacklist this application to solve this issue, what do you think?

extras-devel and extras-testing enabled

Did you check the details tab in the application manager for some more info? There might be some missing libs or some version mismatch between these repos.

In application manager for this application, no detail tab, only Description and Installation, i have try, in order, remove from appman, from xterm apt-get autoclean, apt-get autoremove, reboot, winz like and reinstall, notify me 1 new app are installed, after few second notify in tray 1 update available and is.. xarchiver same version obvious

I had the same issue.

I uninstalled xarchive because of it.

i've try to install this version from xterm dpkg -i
http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...e/x/xarchiver/, after removing old version.

I just installed xarchiver with hildeon application manager, then tried to update both with Fast Application Manager and HAM. No update of xarchiver for me. There seems to be an issue in your package management, please show the output in X-Terminal of

Do you really need the repo http://my-maemo.com enabled for updates???
It holds a version that seems to be higher by name (0.46-7maemo2 > 0.46-7fremantle7)

i discover with version fremantle7 can i open tar,gz and tar.bz2 from FileBox with version maemo2 no, the version 0.46.7maemo2 is the version i've start a post and is the version it want always upgrade, now i set upgrade only after 5 days
