It just started yesterday out of nowhere.
My N900 screen turns black (almost like if i've used the lock switch) while i'm using it.... I can be writing a text or doing anything else...
I tried to uninstall some app, increase brigthness, restored the original settings, took off the battery for some time, but none of this worked.

The screen lights on again if I slide the lock switch twice, once to lock then again to unlock... but suddenly the screen is black again...
I notice that the touch screen is still working, but I can't see a thing.

Please help me... thanks

That was his last activity. It doesn't seem to be a failing LCD due to the fact that he could turn it back on due to locking it and unlocking it.

Reflash it, should fix any issues.
