I just tested by emailing myself a PDF. It opened up in PDF Reader.

When I click attached PDF's within the email program the Media Player attempts to open them. However if I select a PDF in the File Manager it opens in the PDF Viewer as it should.
Does the email program not use the system mime handlers?
