I flashed my n900 yesterday because all the desktop icons and widgets became invisible, also couldn't access the edit menu.

I restored back ups and spent 2½ hours restoring all the apps but the ones from ovi.

When I use ovi from the n900 i see this (PR1.3):

And when I log in with my computer it gives me no download links, just says I've already downloaded the app.

apt-get gives me an error on all ovi apps:
Code:
E: handler silently failed
So where could I get the debs for ovi apps? (Nokia panorama, Angrybirds, Solitaire touch)

They're all free so if nobody has any solutions can you give me the debs?

Make sure you didn't install anything that changes the user agent. Ovi store won't work with a different user-agent. Also check it is really pr1.3 (but most likely calls wouldn't work if it wasn't).

Good luck though, hope you don't need to reflash

I actually think that OVI store is down for a couple of days now.

OP, make sure your user agent is correct.

Ovi store seems to be working for me.

Anyway, to fix that error when using apt-get you can install MohammadAG's modified apt, then you will be able to install the free Ovi Store apps using apt-get.

I had hideuseragent installed, though I never did anything to it. Now I'm able to access ovi again but can't find angrybirds anywhere. Only the level packs. Also it ham says it can't find the package when trying to install the others.

I always get not enough space in /home when trying to install anything from Ovi. But I have 150MB free.
Code:
Upgrading hitthemonkey2 2.0.0 to 2.0.1
apt-worker: free space (/) = 32735232
apt-worker: free space (/home/user/MyDocs/.apt-archive-cache/) = 19369558016
apt-worker: free space (/home/) = 163127296
apt-worker: total space (/home/) = 2113748992
apt-worker: You don't have enough free space in /home
apt-worker: free space (/media/mmc1/.apt-archive-cache/) = 636616704
apt-worker: free space (/home/) = 163127296
apt-worker: total space (/home/) = 2113748992
apt-worker: You don't have enough free space in /home
apt-worker: free space (/home/.apt-archive-cache/) = 163127296
apt-worker: free space (/home/) = 163127296
apt-worker: total space (/home/) = 2113748992
apt-worker: You don't have enough free space in /home
apt-worker: free space (/var/cache/apt/archives/) = 163127296
apt-worker: free space (/home/) = 163127296
apt-worker: total space (/home/) = 2113748992
apt-worker: You don't have enough free space in /home
required disk space: 240926
result code = 7
When I try apt-get instead of HAM i also get that handler silently failed.

Anyone know how to fix this?
