Hi guys, long time I have installed the game spbbrainevolution, it worked very well, however a few days ago no longer works, when you run the program just tries to load and then the screen closes.
So I wanted to know if there are any log to see which is the problem, because maybe the other program is installed.
i've tried reinstalling but still the same.
Thank you very much.

Ya I think it's a bug. But you can launch it in x-term through root.

Steps:
1. open x-term
2. Type 'sudo gainroot'
3. 'cd /opt/spbbrainevolution/usr/bin'
4. ./spbbrainevolution

and you are good to go

I am assuming it is some application you have installed that must have caused it to not work. Try running the application via console and see if you get any errors prompted.

The executable is: /opt/spbbrainevolution/usr/bin/spbbrainevolution

Thank you

While doing the first command posted I get

".....: error while loading shared libraries: libikmod.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

You need to install libmikmod2 (sudo apt-get install libmikmod2), I wonder why some people keep needing that for programs that shouldn't need that and why everybody always writes it wrong...

I think you mistyped there. There's no such file as libikmod.so.2. I've tried searching for that file without any luck. I ran lsof on the spbbrainevolution itself and I couldn't find it using that shared object.

Did you bother making sure that you had the spelling of the file that was missing right?

For me I don't have any error message in the terminal if I launch it in user, so I guess I have a different issue.....
