I'm hoping someone can help me sort this out...

CSSU wont install, the problem tab tells me it is due to the fact that modest-home-applet is missing.

No amount of trying to reinstall it or following the guide on the wiki has helped.

Other people seem to have solved it but none of the fixes have worked for me yet.

When i try to install it i get:

package modest-home-applet is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted or is only available from another source E: Package modest-home-applet ha no installation candidate

Can anyone help me out?

Please be forewarned that although I've had the phone for nigh on two years and consider myself relatively technical, that does not extend into linux code... I installed rootsh tonight to try to fix this

Same error also occurs for microb-geolocation

what is the output of that command?
please list what repositories (software catalogs) you have enabled

Thanks all, (even for the hijack ) after not doing anything else and going to bed, the next day it does the ota update no problem - dont you just love technology !
